Cal Fire Fire Fighters Play for MDA

August 17, 2009 - Fresno-Kings Cal Fire Local 2881 fire fighters participated in the Charity Bowl flag football game against Fresno County Law Enforcement in May to raise money for MDA. A portion of all Charity Bowl ticket sales benefitted MDA, along with donations collected at a Fill-the-Boot drive held in the stands of Selland Arena.

Three local MDA Campers awarded the Charity Bowl trophy to Law Enforcement after it won the game. These two events raised $5,146 for the Central Valley MDA.
