St. Lucie County Proclaims May 2009 Fire Fighter Appreciation Month

June 5, 2009 - St. Lucie County Commission Board Chairperson Paula Lewis proclaimed May 2009 as St. Lucie County Fire Fighter Appreciation Month. Lewis thanked fire fighters for their efforts on behalf of MDA and asked the community to be generous in their support of the fire fighters during the Fill-the-Boot campaign. St. Lucie County, FL Local 1377 is filling the boot throughout May.
