July 2, 2007 - St. Petersburg, FL Local 747 took to the streets in May to Fill the Boot for MDA. Fire fighters spent three consecutive Saturdays, raising $27,000. The money collected will help fight Muscular Dystrophy by providing funding for research, summer camp, clinic evaluations, wheelchairs and much more to people in Florida. St. Petersburg fire fighters also cooked spaghetti and meatballs for all the campers and counselors at the Annual MDA Summer Camp held June 2-8, 2007.
