Oklahoma Fire Fighters Honored for MDA Efforts

Tulsa, OK Local 176 won the Oklahoma Fill-the-Boot Traveling Trophy at the recent Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma Convention. Tulsa was the top overall fundraising department in 2006, raising $127,678 in Oklahoma. Last year’s winner was Oklahoma City, OK Local 157, which raised $112,170 in 2006.

(Left) Skiatook, OK Local 4967 was awarded with a new MDA Fill-the-Boot plaque at the recent Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma Convention. Skiatook was the top fundraising department per capita in 2006, raising $1.95 per capita. Other departments raising more than $1 per capita include: Coweta, OK Local 3483; Newkirk, OK Local 4441; Weatherford, OK Local 4236; Newcastle, OK Local 3910; and Noble, OK Local 2920.
