INGREDIENTS

1 head Romaine lettuce, cleaned and torn into pieces
1 small loaf French bread
  Italian seasoning to taste
1 tbsp. olive oil
  grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp. lemon zest, minced
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed
RECIPE

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Slice bread into cubes. Toss in 1 tablespoon olive oil and Italian seasoning and place on baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until light brown and toasty. Set aside.
  • Put lemon zest, white wine, balsamic vinegars, sugar, garlic, ¾ cup olive oil, salt and pepper to taste in a jar. Close tightly and shake well. Set aside.
  • Toss lettuce, croutons, dressing, and parmesan to dress and enjoy!
