IAFF Local Honor Guard and Pipe/Drum Band All IAFF Affiliate Honor Guards and IAFF Pipe and Drum Bands are again invited to participate in the 2008 IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial Observance in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Once again, IAFF Honor Guard Commander Jay Bishop will serve as the U.S. East Coast/Canadian Coordinator and IAFF Honor Guard Commander Rick Apple will serve as the U.S. West Coast Coordinator. Coordinating the Pipe and Drum Band will be IAFF Pipe Major Hunter Schappaugh. Registration Procedures All Honor Guard and Pipe/Drum Band Unit Commanders and members are requested to individually register on the main registration page. Also, please get in contact with the respective IAFF Honor Guard or Pipe/Drum Coordinator. Scheduled Events On Thursday evening, September 18, 2008, at 4:00 PM there will be a mandatory meeting of all Honor Guard and Pipe/Drum Band members. On Friday, September 19, 2008, there will be a mandatory rehearsal at the Memorial Site beginning at 9:00 AM. On Saturday, September 20, 2008, all Honor Guard and Pipe/Drum Band members will assemble at the Memorial Site at 9:30 AM for rehearsal and line-up. The Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 PM.
