Individuals planning to attend this year’s memorial (families, IAFF members, honor guard/pipe and drum, etc.) must register online beginning June 1, 2009. Registration ends 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2009. To assist us in planning, local union members (whether honor guard members or not) who will be presenting the memorial IAFF flag to family members during the ceremony must also register on the main registration site. If you do not have access to a computer or need assistance, call the memorial staff at (202) 824-8639. Note: Before registering online, please make sure to make your hotel/travel accommodations. Upon the completion of your online registration, you will be provided a confirmation number. You will need to use this number if you return to the registration site to make changes, update your travel plans or provide additional information. NOTE: You should complete all information accurately in order to get a confirmation number that will allow you to come back to make changes. So, please get all of your flight and hotel details before registering online. Please make sure to check in at the Registration Desk at the Crowne Plaza Hotel upon your arrival to receive your credentials and itinerary of events.
