   IAFF Motorcycle Group

The IAFF Motorcycle Group (IAFF-MG), created through a resolution at the 2004 IAFF Convention, is designed to bring together active, retired and alumni members and members of recognized affiliates from across the International and to promote fraternalism among the IAFF’s ranks. The IAFF-MG is open to IAFF members who own and ride motorcycles.

10th District IAFF-MG Ride to Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial Via Las Vegas
Whether you're coming from Northern or Southern California, Arizona or Hawaii, the 10th District IAFF-MG will meet 9th District IAFF-MG members in Las Vegas on the morning of September 16 and ride to Torrey Utah, to Montrose, Colorado on September 17 and to Colorado Springs on September 18. IAFF-MG 4th District Holds 3rd Annual Go for Gallardy Poker Run
June 20, 2008 - The IAFF-MG 4th District invites fellow IAFF-MG members to ride with Altoona, PA Local 299 and Johnstown, PA Local 463 in remembrance of fallen brother Bob Gallardy. 7th District to Hold Benevolence Fund Bike Rally
April 11, 2008 -- Join the 7th District IAFF-MG for a Benevolence Rally June 23, 2008, in conjunction with the Washington State Council or Fire Fighters (WSCFF). The ride, hosted by Clark County, WA Local 1805 and 7th District Vice President Ricky Walsh, follows the scenic hills and farmlands in the Vancouver, Washington, area. Registration includes ride, dinner and T-shirt. All proceeds benefit the 7th District Benevolence Fund. Deadline for registration is June 6, 2008. Click here for more information.

Trenton Fire Fighters Hold Eighth Annual Andy Ross Charity Motorcycle Ride
Join 8th District IAFF-MG members and the Trenton, Michigan, Fire and Police Departments for the 8th Annual Andy Ross Charity Motorcycle Ride June 14, 2008. The ride is dedicated in memory of Andy Ross, a Trenton fire fighter who lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident on July 21, 2000. Proceeds from the ride benefit the Trenton Firefighters Charities Fund, which provides grants, donations and scholarships for members of the community. Read more
 

San Bernardino Local Sponsors Berdoo Motorcycle Event
San Bernardino, CA Local 891 has partnered with the San Bernardino Convention & Visitors Bureau for a Berdoo Bikes & Blues Rendezvous motorcycle event to be held May 2-3 on the downtown streets of San Bernardino at 2nd and “D” Streets. The Berdoo Bikes & Blues Rendezvous will include live entertainment, a poker run covering a 50-mile radius, “Show & Shine” bike show, custom builders with masterpieces on display, dyno drags and vendor and sponsor exhibits along the closed and fenced streets at this family-friendly motorcycle and music festival. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Children’s Burn Unit.
 
Check Your IAFF-MG Membership Status Online
IAFF-MG members can now access and review their membership information and status online, including past billing history. Log in to the IAFF web site and once logged in click on the "Members Only" or "Officers Only" link as appropriate above the search box. From there, select "View/Edit to see your individual record. Here you can make any changes or updates to your contact information. When you are logged in to the "Members Only" or "Officer Only" section, you will see the IAFF-MG logo in the upper right-hand corner. Hover over the logo with your mouse to see your IAFF-MG member number. The IAFF-MG logo will not appear if you are not a member or your application has not been processed. Fire to the Sky
February 28, 2008 - The IAFF-MG 3rd District will hold a Fire in the Sky ride on June 19, 2008, during Laconia Motorcycle Week. Each year for one day, the auto road up Mount Washington is closed to all vehicles except motorcycles. This ride brings thousands of bikers up Mount Washington, the highest point in New England. Your membership in the IAFF-MG will continue as long as you remain in good standing with the IAFF, including payment of dues and active support of IAFF-MG activities. Renew Your IAFF-MG Dues!
Renewal notices for calendar year 2007 have been sent to all IAFF-MG members. Membership in the IAFF-MG will continue as long as you remain in good standing with the IAFF, including payment of dues and active support of IAFF-MG functions. Members who maintain active membership in the IAFF-MG for 10 consecutive years will be awarded a lifetime membership in the IAFF-MG. Renew for $50 for one year or for $100 for two years. IAFF-MG Colors Now Available
The IAFF Motorcycle Group (IAFF-MG) colors are now available to all IAFF-MG members. Order forms have been mailed, along with a welcome letter from IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger. View the IAFF-MG colors (front) (back). To order online, click here. You must be an IAFF-MG member to purchase and wear the IAFF-MG colors. IAFF Active, retired and alumni members who join the IAFF-MG before September 15 become Charter Members, and can purchase and wear merchandise bearing this designation. The Charter Member patch is included at no additional cost for those who sign up by September 15. No additional Charter Members will be accepted after September 15, 2005. IAFF Motorcycle Group Holds Inaugural Ride
IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger led nearly 100 IAFF members on a motorcycle ride through Nevada’s Mt. Charleston on Sunday, June 26, officially launching the IAFF Motorcycle Group. The inaugural ride, which served as the first gathering of members, was held in conjunction with the IAFF EMS Conference being held this week in Las Vegas, Nevada. Read more...
