2006 11th District IAFF-MG/Buddy Mass Freedom Ride

Join Oklahoma and Texas IAFF-MG members for the 4th Annual 11th District IAFF-MG/Buddy Mass Freedom Ride, September 16-25, 2006. The schedule below includes the start and end points for each day. This year’s ride features the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway and the “Tail of the Dragon” (382 turns in 11 miles).

September 16 – Meet in Van Buren, Arkansas, Motel 6 (479-474-8001)

September 17 – Van Buren, Arkansas to Jackson, Tennessee (374 miles), Super 8 Motel (731-668-1145)

September 18 – Jackson, Tennessee to Lexington, Kentucky (353 miles), Super 8 Motel (859-299-6241)

September 19 – Lexington, Kentucky to Waynesboro, Virginia (376 miles), Days Inn (540-943-1101)

September 20 – Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway from Waynesboro, Virginia to Elkin, North Carolina (257 miles), Elk Inn (336-835-7780)

September 21 – Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway from Elkin, North Carolina to Cherokee, North Carolina (233 miles), Budget Inn (828-497-2757)

September 22 – Ride from Cherokee, North Carolina to McMinnville, Tennessee (216 miles) including the Tail of the Dragon, McMinnville Inn (931-473-7338).

September 23 – Ride from McMinnville, Tennessee to Memphis, Tennessee (283 miles), Best Western Benchmark Hotel on Union Avenue (901-527-4100)

September 24 – Ride from Memphis, Tennessee to Van Buren, Arkansas (297 miles), Motel 6 (479-474-8001)

September 25 – Ride from Van Buren, Arkansas to your home city
