Washington, DC – The major Republican and Democratic
presidential candidates vying for their parties’ nomination will take center
stage at the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) Bipartisan 2008
Presidential Forum being held at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill on March 14 at
8:30 a.m. in the Regency Ballroom.
The IAFF has a strong record of endorsing candidates from both
parties. The union’s early support and endorsement of Sen. John Kerry in the
last presidential election is credited with lifting him in the Iowa caucuses,
the New Hampshire primary and to the Democratic nomination.
The forum will be available to view online in a time delayed
webcast or a post event video stream at
www.iaff.org.
